To deliver the conept and create a fully unified systematic UI for the experience. Based on early designs to smoothen out the interaction design and to deliver an experience that is scalabe and usable by anyone.
We covered all edge-cases and designed a bespoke image editor which fully cross-platform and mobile friendly. We also designed a grid where users would get presented generated designs of their photos to inspire them.
The colour picker featured Smart Colours, that were based on the uploaded photo.
Based on a smart logic we tried to serve the user the designs, that an algorithm picked based on the photo that the user uploaded.
The image editor was designed to make positioning, rotation and scaling smooth and easy no matter the design. The editor was fully responsive from mobile, up to desktop.
We came up with an idea to facilitate the NFC in the Nexus devices and each accessory would come with a built in NFC in them to bring the cover designs to life even more through an interactive wallpaper.
The preview built by the team was a live WebGL preview which allowed the users to see even the different finishes. We had pre-set angles to help with making the designs look appealing.
